Low two-seat banquette known as "kangourou" in solid teak and braided canework.

Canework seat and backrest on a profiled structure in teak forming a base at the back. Three slanted, profiled legs at the front. The slightly curved backrest, seat and leg follow on from each other to form a horizontal "Z" shape.

Circa 1955.

Dimensions:

  • Height: 24.4 in / 62 cm.
  • Length: 41.3in / 105 cm.
  • Depth: 27.5 in / 70 cm. (+/-).

Provenance: Hall of the General hospital and private homes in Chandigarh. 

History: the only example listed to date.
