Chair in solid teak, with seat in braided canework. Flat and profiled leg assembly, assembled by screws and nuts and joined by three crosspieces including two of square section and one “pole”-type at the back. Straight “band”-type backrest, slightly curved. 

The canework of the seat is embellished with a brown, upholstered in brown.

Circa 1955-56. Dimensions: Height: 28.35 in / 72 cm. Width: 19.49 in / 49,5 cm. Depth: 17.72 in / 45 cm. (+/-).

Provenance: “Himayan Hostel“ (, private homes in Chandigarh and "M.L.A. Flat" (residence for civil servants) in Chandigarh, sector 4.

Note : This chair also exists with one, three or four “pole”or “bar”-type crosspieces under seat.
