Teak low chair

Low chair known as "kangourou" in solid teak and braided canework. Canework seat and backrest on a profiled teak structure forming a base at the back. Two slanting, profiled legs at the front.

The slightly curved backrest, seat and leg follow on from each other to form a horizontal "Z" shape.

Circa 1955.

Dimensions:

  • Height: 24.4 in / 62 cm.
  • Length: 20.9 in / 53,3 cm.
  • Depth: 27.5 in / 70 cm. (+/-).

Provenance: Hall of the General Hospital, sector 32 and private homes in Chandigarh.
